   No work life balance equally a do manager (at least in some markets) you are expected to manage and run a dispensary while also beingness a technician or front desk all the time. Upper management does not listen to concerns that would amend quality of employment at a clinic level.

    Pros

    Banfield has always supported my development. My leaders accept challenged me when necessary and the growth opportunities inside my own part also as my next role have helped me develop yr over year as a leader. In the Midwest, we believe in Talent development. All you accept to do is enquire for what you lot desire and need. We will observe a mode to get in happen.

    Cons

    The development path for a practice manager that wants to motility into the FD role is a straight and clear path. Other learning paths are non as clear and straight. Information technology can be difficult to figure out what a learning path looks like for someone who wants to move into a role other than the Field Director. Equally an organization, we have made great strides in creating other learning paths that do non involve becoming a Field Managing director, but I experience we still have a long journey alee of united states.
